Film Noir description- SNACHED:

We were put into groups to create a film that would fit into a 'Film Noir' genre. At first we individually  conducted our research on Film Noir, to have an understanding of what visuals and ideas we wanted to include in our film. This gave us more of a familiarity with the genre by researching what Film Noir is all about by doing a contextual research that included, historical and social contexts within that film genre type. We also researched through Film Noir films, which were, 'The Woman In The Window', 'The Big Combo' and 'Trapped.'

Secondly, we started to plan our film by filling out all pre-production paperwork, which included information about our film and important information. Such as, the Script, Storyboards, Location Recce, Shot list, Pitch, Character Release Forms and also a Call sheet, and we also performed a pitch in front of an audience.

We then made a list of equipment and props that we were planning on using and then started on our production process, which was the filming part.  We went to different locations and used a range of different equipment such as, Camera, Tripod, Shotgun Microphone, Hot Light, LED Light and a lot of different props.

Lastly, we edited which was part of the post- production  process and we sent out surveys to get feedback from our audience, using 'Google Forms.'
